The Miwok Stables Center supports a wide variety of outreach programs at Miwok Stables, making it possible for members of the community who would otherwise not have the opportunity, to come to the stables for lessons and outings.

The lesson programs are conducted by the Miwok Livery, a riding school which has been operating at Miwok Stables since 1981. The Livery has twenty-five school horses and an experienced and credentialed staff of instructors.

MSC volunteers assist with the lessons, providing a one-on-one teacher/student ratio, and a deep level of personal involvement and commitment to each student. This is particularly valuable for working with troubled teens, who benefit greatly from the personal attention.
